DJ Tim SmithZ, a humorous and ambitious Slater, will attend Northampton Community College to get his associates degree in fire science, but in the meantime, he is focusing on his DJ business.

What got you into the DJ business?

I always grew up around older DJ’s. One day, I just decided that there needs to be younger DJ’s in the area, so I bought my dad’s friends’ equipment because he was getting out of the business.

What is your favorite part about performing? / Describe the feeling.

My favorite part about performing is when you get everyone up on the dance floor, smiling, and having a great time. The feeling is great when the room is full of nothing but positivity.

If you had to DJ for the Kardashians what is the first and last song you would play? / what would your outfit be?

The first song I would play would be “Good Life” by Kanye and the last song I would play would be “Stronger” by him too because it would be a Kardashian wedding. All they would want to hear is Kanye, and nothing but him. I would wear my signature Tasmanian Devil vest along with a nice tuxedo. Wild’n and Stylin’.

What is your favorite event to DJ at?

I like to DJ wedding and formal events, such as school events. A DJ can make or break those events, so I always must be on my A game.

Most preferred song to play?

I like to play songs that generally keep people up and going like pop, hip-hop, and EDM. If I had to choose a song it would be “Sorry for Party Rocking” by LMFAO. That song will always get people up and moving.

Who will you remember most from Bangor and why?

The person I will remember the most from Bangor would be Señorita Bass because she was always there for the ups and downs throughout my high school career.

If there were a movie made about your high school days, which actor would play your part and why?

Tom Holland would play the role of me because he’s a young adult that is funny and he’s very ambitious like me.

Who influenced you the most in high school?

Coach Smith was the most influential person throughout high school because he taught me many things in life and always was there when you needed good advice.

Where do you predict you’ll end up ten years from now and why?

I’d like the be a paid firefighter for a city in ten years. I also see myself growing as a DJ, learning more, and adding newer and better equipment to my setup.

Which event will you miss the most and why?

I will miss wrestling the most because it has been the sport I have stuck with for fourteen years.

What is your favorite quote to live by and why?

Take the path less traveled.” I was always told to be who I am, embrace it, don’t take the crowded path.
