Elena Burd  

CIT Cosmetology superstar Burd plans to utilize her impressive leadership skills and friendliness to become a licensed cosmetologist and take classes at NCC.  

What is one fun fact about you?  

“I have an identical sister!” 

If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?  

“If I could live anywhere in the world I will probably want to live in Florida. It seems like a nice hot place to live, has a lot of sun, and nice weather.” 

Favorite movie and why?  

“My favorite movie would have to be ‘Freedom Writers’ because I love how the teacher inspires her class of at-risk students to learn and devote themselves to education beyond high school.”  

 

McCormick Karner (Tracy Finkbeiner)

 

McCormick Karner 

Kind and hardworking Karner dedicated her time at BHS to a member of the Slater TV Studio, SGA, being president of Spanish Honor Society, treasurer of Senior Class Cabinet, captain of the girls varsity basketball team, and participating in girls varsity track and field. She intends to study nursing with aspirations of becoming a nurse anesthetist. 

What is one fun fact about you?  

“I can play three instruments, the trombone, guitar, and piano.” 

If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why? 

“If I could live anywhere, I would live in Boston because I am fascinated by the city’s history and enthusiasm. I also love to experience all four seasons, and Boston sees the best, and worst, of each.” 

What is one thing you could not live without and why? 

“One thing I could not live without is mozzarella sticks because they are like heaven on earth.” 

 

Hannah Kromer (Tracy Finkbeiner)

 

Hannah Kromer 

Friendly and outgoing Kromer spent her high school days participating in Senior Class Cabinet, Ecology Club, CIT- Machine Tool Technology, and Envirothon where she had the opportunity to lead as captain. 

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?  

I would love to live in Wyoming because there are more people living there then cows. I love cows!” 

Favorite movie and why? 

“My favorite movie is ‘The Fox and the Hound.’ It’s the perfect representation of why we shouldn’t hate others because of what we are told, always try to make friends with other people even if they have different views.” 

What band could play the soundtrack to your high school career and why? 

Kenny Chesney, There Goes My Life!” 

 

Corie Reid (Tracy Finkbeiner)

 

Corie Reid  

Humble girls varsity tennis captain and choir sensation, Reid aspires to attend a four-year university and gain a degree in criminal justice or business.  

What is your favorite high school memory?  

“My favorite high school memory is being in the quarry crew for the football games and going to the dances.” 

What’s one fun fact about you?  

“One fun fact about me is I love to cook!” 

Favorite movie and why? 

“My favorite movie is ‘Step Brothers.’ It always makes me laugh no matter how many times I rewatch it.” 

 

Cyana Rodriguez (Tracy Finkbeiner)

 

Cyana Rodriguez  

Slater varsity cheerleading captain and dedicated member of both the band and choir, Rodriguez intends on attending a four-year university and working towards a degree in accounting and business management.  

If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why? 

“If I could live anywhere, I would want to live somewhere close to a beautiful clear beach.” 

Favorite movie and why? 

“My favorite movie currently is Cruella because I love the fashion that is involved!” 

What band could play the soundtrack to your high school career and why? 

“Destinee’s Child because their songs are amazing and really relate to my high school experience!” 

 

Logan Borger (Tracy Finkbeiner)

 

Logan Borger  

After dedicating his time at BHS to Marching Band, Slater Chorale, Channel 21 Studio, Speech and Debate Club, and the musical Borger will attend NCC and then transfer to a four-year university.  

What’s one fun fact about you? 

“I’m part of the Homecoming court.” 

If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?  

“Bangor because my school pride will last forever.” 

Favorite movie and why?  

“National Lampoons Vacation because it is both comical and enjoyable to watch!” 

 

CJ Fassl (Tracy Finkbeiner)

 

CJ Fassl  

Fassl, after contributing his time to Slater Chorale, marching band, the musical, and being a chorus section leader, will deepen his love for music by studying vocal performance at the college level.  

What is your favorite high school memory?  

“One of my favorite memories of high school is the bus ride home after winning all the Freddies freshman year!” 

Favorite movie and why?  

“The Back to the Future Trilogy because they’re classic movies that never fail to make me happy.” 

What is one thing you could not live without and why?  

“Probably music because it’s basically my life at this point.” 

 

Evan Finkbeiner (Tracy Finkbeiner)

 

Evan Finkbeiner  

Outgoing Finkbeiner made his mark on BHS through his participation in the Slater musical, boys varsity tennis, and marching band where he served as drum major. He plans to study music at a four-year college. 

What is your favorite high school memory?  

“Qualifying for state choir in the tenth grade!” 

What is one fun fact about you? 

“At some point throughout my life I have played football, baseball, and ran cross-country.  

What is one thing you could not live without?  

“My bed because I very much enjoy my sleep.” 

 

Kael Godshalk (Tracy Finkbeiner)

Slater all-star athlete Godshalk will leave behind his BHS legacy after contributing his time to varsity baseball and football as captain, SGA, Class Cabinet, and National Honor Society to study marine engineering and play baseball at the Coast Guard Academy.  

What is your favorite high school memory?  

“Beating Pen Argyl in football my freshman year!” 

What is one fun fact about you?  

“Selena Gomez is my celebrity crush.”  

What band could play the soundtrack to your high school career and why?  

“T Swift, because I think she really gets my vibe.” 

 

Jhonny Rojas (Tracy Finkbeiner)

 

Jhonny Rojas  

Rojas, a friend to all Slaters, after giving his time to being the girls tennis manager, Senior Class Cabinet Historian, choir as librarian, boys varsity tennis, Slater Chorale, musical, and to all Slaters as bringing the beloved Slater mascot to life, will go on to study history with hopes of one day becoming a history teacher.  

What is your favorite high school memory? 

“Being able to mascot the Slater at the boys’ basketball district game at the PPL Center and getting to dance in front of the crowd.” 

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? 

“Alaska so I don’t have any neighbors.”

“The Bee Movie, I want to be Pollen Jack.”
