Amazing senior Shawna Campanaro overall was an outstanding Slater and will continue her education at Northampton Community College to major in journalism this fall.

What is your best high school memory and why?

I would say my best high school memory would be being a part of the musicals the past two years. I found a love in performing and created friendships with people I never thought I would be friends with.

If you were to choose one emoji to describe you, which one would it be and why?

I wish there were a giraffe emoji, because that would describe me perfectly.

If you got a tattoo, what would it be of and why?

I plan to get my first tattoo during summer with my mom, and one of us will be getting “where you lead” and the other “I will follow” from Gilmore Girls, because our relationship is exactly like Loralai and Rory.

What does it mean to be a Bangor Slater?

We work as a team/family, and we are always there to support each other in good times and bad times.

Who do you look up to most in life?

My mom, because she is just truly amazing and my best friend.

What is your worst high school memory and why?

High school is just tough as it is, but I would have to say my worst high school memory was being a senior and performing my last show. There was a lot of crying (including myself).

Where can you see yourself living in ten years?

Hopefully on a beach somewhere, maybe married and maybe having my first child. But there definitely will be a house or apartment in the picture, and a dog.

If you could have any job in the world after college, what would it be? Why?

Be a journalist at either a smaller paper or possibly have my own blog.

If you were to spend a week in any country in the world, which one would it be?

Either Italy or Holland, because my family comes from both countries.

What college are you going to and what will your major be?

Northampton Community College to major in Journalism.

Somewhere warm and on a beach, doing something to help my friends and family’s lives easier.

What club/activity/sport are you in and which one means the most to you?

Choir, musical, and golf. I can’t pick just one =, because they all hold a special place in my heart.

Is there someone you aspire to be like?

I prefer to be more individual, even though that is sometimes hard to do.

What is one of your biggest goals on your bucket list?

Travel to all 50 states in the US.

What band could play the soundtrack to your high school career and why?

I would have to say Florida-Georgia Line’s “Dig Your Roots”, because their music just describes the small town we live in and many of the experiences I’ve been through during high school.

What are your hobbies?

Reading, golf, hunting, choir, musicals, watching tv/movies, going camping and to the beach, and hanging out with friends and family.

What are you most known for amongst your friends/peers/family?

Being the most organized and on top of things.
