FALL FASHION FINALLY HERE

Winter brings excessive layers of clothing and indoor sweating. Allergies lead to snot-accentuated shirts in the spring. Summer heat is too hard to beat. It’s clear: fall stands out as the peak of the fashion timeline.

When fall finally returns, it’s time to break out ankle booties and oversized sweaters. A typical outfit for a casual day, such as going to school or hanging out with friends, consists of black leggings, knee-high boots with side buckles or zippers, along with a multicolor, button-up flannel. To accessorize this casual yet cute look, gold earrings or a simple watch on the wrist will complete the ensemble.

When trying to impress that special someone or going to a semi-formal event, a denim or khaki colored skirt with a long-sleeve solid t-shirt work well with some tights; Lace-up ankle boots will tie it all together. If boots seem too casual, a pair of closed-toe fabric wedges will dress it up to standards.

In fall, outdoor activities, such as pumpkin picking and corn mazes, are especially popular. If the day is a little chillier than anticipated, a green army jacket on top of a darker colored shirt creates a great Insta-ready look. On top of the jacket, a plaid or fluffy infinity scarf ensures a warm and fashion-forward feel. Knee-high socks will also do the trick, especially for being outside while getting lost in the corn maze.

When choosing an outfit for the day, the clothing must match the autumn color palette. For example, a flannel accented with maroon, brown, orange, and red colors illustrates the delights of fall.
