SASCHA GUTIERREZ: OCTOBER SENIOR STUDENT OF THE MONTH
November 9, 2017
Dedicated Slater Sascha Gutierrez has been chosen as October’s student of the month for the senior class.
“To be student of the month feels great because I know that my actions have made a positive impact on the school environment,” Gutierrez said.
Gutierrez’s remarkable class work is one of the many reasons she is suitable for this position. Not only does she strive academically but she gives back by getting involved in community service. Gutierrez participates in clothing drives, food drives, and toy drives in New York where she used to live.
Additionally, Gutierrez enjoys photography, cooking, and soccer but spends most of her time being an active member in school clubs, such as Class Cabinet, GSA, National Honors Society, and Aevidum as well.
Within Aevidum, a club that is based on supporting other students with positive messages, she helps spread joy around the school on a daily basis.
Gutierrez’s love for volunteering to help the community and outstanding schoolwork has made a great impact to the school environment.
