BYOS: BRING YOUR OWN SKATES
January 23, 2018
Are you looking for a fun activity to help get rid of the winter blues? Then look no further because the Roseto Ball Park has just opened up an ice skating rink.
The Roseto Borough was given the opportunity to buy a portable outdoor ice rink for $3,900 and opened it to the public on January 5.
The new rink is located under the Roseto Ball Park pavilion, and can be accessed by a gate near Denisco Street and McKinley.
The rink is open to the public on Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
With free admission, skating at the Roseto Ball Park is a great activity to do with friends and family.
Annually, the borough will purchase a new liner that costs approximately $100. Due to the limited amount of space, the borough is considering buying additional sections to expand the ice rink’s size. Anyone is welcome to contact the borough office and help raise money for further improvements by selling hot chocolate, coffee, or any other baked goods, but the items are only to be sold when the rink is open.
Be sure to make unforgettable memories by visiting the local ice rink with your friends and family.
