Whether it’s showcasing his talent for the Slater baseball team or volunteering his time to various clubs. senior Braeden Keith excels in anything he puts his mind to. Within his past four years of being a Slater, Keith was devoted to making the community a better place.

“I am involved in National Honors Society and Spanish Honors Society. I participate in these activities because these organizations strive to help the community, “Keith said. “I am all about making the community a better place for students and staff. I love helping others and bringing people together.”

In addition to Keith’s participation in school clubs, he is also a key member of the Slater baseball team.

“I’ve been playing ever since I was six years old. I started playing because I loved watching the Phillies. I used to go to games with my dad to watch the second basemen, Chase Utley,” Keith said. “He was a man of the people and was very respectful while he played for Philadelphia.”

Aside from his love for baseball, Keith also looks up to the person who inspires him the most – Tom Brady.

“Ever since I was little I looked up to him; he is a very kind and passionate person,” Keith said. “Brady is such a great father and role model. He respects everyone and treats everybody equally.”

Keith aspires to be a leader amongst his peers as he continues to brighten the community with his helpfulness and positive energy.

“I aspire to be a leader for others and a person someone who can help express themselves, “Keith said. “I love making others feel happy and guiding people to spread cheerfulness with their peers.”

As Keith’s final day of being a Slater quickly approaches, he plans to take his persistent, yet caring personality with him to attend East Stroudsburg University and pursue his passion for accounting.

“I chose ESU because it’s close to home and my work place. Accounting just also made sense to me because I’m good with numbers and love the business and finance aspect of it, “Keith said.

Although Keith is staying local, he will take his conscientious work ethic with him as he prepares for the abundant amount of work. Keith is ready to perform to the best of his ability.

“I’ve taken intro to business, sports and entertainment marketing, personal law, and accounting. The classes helped put me in the mindset of college,” Keith said.

No matter where Keith ends up he will surely find success soon.
