EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF DISNEY NIGHT

Bangor Area High School’s Choir is proud to present the second annual Disney Night at the M. Craig Paine Theater on November 20 at 7:00 p.m. For $5, the audience will be swept into the magical world of Disney as choir members sing some of the best Disney classics.

Last year, the choir had great success when they hosted Disney Night for the first time, so it was an obvious choice to bring back the Disney magic again this year.

“Seeing the pure joy on all of the kids’ faces last year made the show totally worth it,” senior participant Gianna Graziano said. “Since it was so successful, we knew that we had to do it again, but this time make it bigger and better.”

To truly capture the Disney spirit and make it the best show possible, choir members have worked extremely hard on their performances. Their beautiful singing will be accompanied by colorful costumes and enticing props, making this magical evening come to life.

With glass slippers and a magic carpet, the audience will truly feel as if they are in a Disney Fairytale as they watch students perform songs from the very best Disney movies, including Moana, Frozen, Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid.

Attendees from last year’s Disney Night will be excited to see some numbers performed once again this year. “Part of Your World,” sung by Graziano, and “Let it Go,” sung by junior Brookel Sabella, will make a reappearance.

“Some of the songs we are singing are classic Alen Menkin songs that are crowd pleasers, guaranteed to put a smile on the audience’s faces,” Graziano said. “We believed we had to perform these songs or else it would feel as if something was missing.”

In addition to individual performances, the choir will also be singing two group numbers. “I’ll Make a Man Outta You” from Mulan has the majority of the choir in it, and the closing song with all participants will be the upbeat, interactive “Under the Sea.” These numbers are sure to be crowd favorites and will most certainly get everyone on their feet.

People of all ages will enjoy this magical night; from the youngest mini Slaters, to the oldest diehard Disney fans, so make sure to come to the theater and channel your inner child as you support the Bangor Choir.
