Child’s Play (June 21, 2019, R)

Disappointed about moving to a new city, Andy Barclay’s (Gabriel Bateman) mom, Karen Barclay (Aubrey Plaza), buys him an innocent Buddi doll that becomes his best friend. When the doll starts to become lifelike and have a mind of its own, Andy must team up with other kids in the neighborhood to stop the doll from going on a murderous rampage. 

Produced by David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith of It, Child’s Play is a reboot from the original that was released in 1988 and became a horror it. With Plaza (Parks and Recreation) and Barclay (Annabelle) playing the main characters, this summer horror will be a whirlwind of emotions.
