SLATER SPOTLIGHT: CJ MILES

Emma Naysmith, Editor in Chief

How many years have you been a Bangor Slater?
11 years, since second grade. I moved here from New York.

Where do you plan to attend college and what will you be studying? What do you want to do as a future career?
I will be transferring to a prep school in Pennsylvania for a postgraduate year.

List the sports, activities, clubs, etc. you did while you were at Bangor High School.
Basketball and football.

What three positive words would your friends use to describe you?
Happy, joyful, and passionate.

Who will you remember most in Bangor and why?
Steve the Coordinated Health trainer because that’s my homie.

What is your best high school memory and why?
When my grade won Clash of Classes our sophomore year (best class of all time ….) because it was lit and we received a cookout day or something, idk.

What is your worst high school memory and why?
Can’t really think of any, probably playing a boring game in gym like frisbee or ping pong.

If there were a movie or TV show made about your high school days, which actor would play your part and why?
Tyler James Williams because he was a good actor in “Everybody Hates Chris” as a teenager.

When you arrive at school in the morning, where is the first place you want to go and why?
The auditorium because that most likely means my teacher isn’t in school that day, so that means I don’t have to do any work that day for that class.

Where do you predict you’ll end up ten years from now and why?
Hopefully living somewhere else besides Pennsylvania because I hate the cold and I’m tired of the environment.

Which event, events will you miss the most and why?
The dodgeball tournament because our school won’t let us play it that often in gym.

What is your favorite quote to live by and why?
“It’s whatever to be honest, I don’t care.”
