What are your favorite classes? What was it about these classes that thrilled you?
I loved Intro to Business the most because it taught me so much. It was exciting to learn about different parts of how businesses work, from understanding marketing strategies to figuring out financial concepts. This class gave me a good start in understanding how the business world operates, and I feel like I learned a lot from it.
What are some positive adjectives that your friends would use to describe you?
Caring, because I’m always there for my friends whenever they need someone to talk to. I’m a hustler because I enjoy finding ways to make money and I’m not afraid of hard work. My friends would describe me as outgoing since I’m always up for trying new things. They also see me as straightforward because I believe in honesty and speaking my mind.
What are your plans after high school (college, military, career path, etc.)? What do you hope to study? What career(s) appeal to you? Why?
After high school, I’m planning to go to Northampton Community College to study law enforcement. At the same time, I’ll keep growing my landscaping business. I really enjoy landscaping and running my own business. It’s something I’m good at, and it gives me a sense of independence. I hope to use my skills to make a difference in my community and have a job that I love.
Describe, in detail, your ideal life 10 years from now.
In ten years, I picture myself living a healthy life, staying fit and happy. I’ll keep using my strengths and working hard to achieve my goals. I want to do well in my job, whether it’s in law enforcement or running my own business. It would be awesome to have a big house that feels cozy and a cool car. But more importantly, I hope to have close relationships with family and friends, making lots of great memories together.
What is your best high school memory and why?
My favorite high school memory is hanging out with Ja’kye in Mr. Egner’s class during sophomore year. Ja’kye was hilarious, and being around him made everything more fun, whether we were working on assignments or just chatting. Those times in Mr. Egner’s class with Ja’kye are some of the best memories I have from high school.
If there were a movie made about your high school days, what would be the title and which actor would play your part? Why?
If my high school days were a movie, it would be called “The Matrix” because high school often feels like a repeating cycle. I’d pick Christian Bale to play my part because, like Batman, Bale’s acting skills would capture all the different sides of my character, from funny moments to times when I’m learning and growing. Plus, he’s not part of the “matrix” of high school drama, just like I try not to get too caught up in it all.
Which event/events will you miss the most and why?
I will miss cross country the most because it was more than just running; it was about the whole experience. The team bonding and the excitement of race day were all unforgettable. Running alongside my friends made it even better; we encouraged each other and pushed each other to do our best and celebrated our victories together.
Which artist could play the soundtrack to your high school career and why?
Boogie wit da Hoodie would be the perfect artist to play the soundtrack to my high school career because his music speaks to me. His songs capture the ups and downs of teenage life. Boogie’s lyrics are relatable, and his beats are catchy, making his music the perfect backdrop to the highs and lows of high school.
What is your favorite quote to live by and why?
My favorite quote to live by is “days like these pass” because it reminds me that tough times don’t last forever. It’s comforting to know that even when things are hard, they’ll eventually get better. This quote helps me stay positive and keep going, knowing that brighter days are ahead.
Who will you remember most in Bangor and why?
The person I’ll remember most in Bangor is Ja’kye E’arle because he’s been like a brother to me. We’ve shared so many good times and he’s always been there for me, no matter what. I also want to shout out Makhias Romain and Josh Wilkins because they’re super dependable and thorough in everything they do. They’ve been great friends and I’ll always remember their dedication.
Who is your biggest mentor? Why?
My biggest mentor would have to be my dad. He’s always been there for me, pushing me to do my best and never give up. Even when things were tough, he’d remind me to give it my all, even if it felt like I could only give half. His advice and support have helped me through everything, from school to sports to just figuring things out.
What activities (sports, clubs, jobs) have you done throughout your high school career?
During high school, I’ve been busy with a couple of things. I’ve been doing cross country and track, putting in lots of effort and time into races. Being part of the team has taught me about teamwork and staying dedicated. Outside of sports, I’ve also been working to earn some bread aka money. It’s taught me responsibility and the value of hard work. Balancing sports and work hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth it to see my progress both on the track and in my bank account.
Which of these activities is your favorite and why? What was/is your position in the activity? Why did this activity matter to you so much? List any accomplishments.
My favorite activity is cross country because I enjoy running with my friends and staying active. Being part of the team helped me stay fit and I loved the excitement of races. One of my biggest accomplishments was going to the states with my team. Besides that, I’ve also felt proud of making money through my part-time job.
