The Lady Slaters soccer team recently celebrated Kylee Will (forward), Sophia Rossetti (defender), Montana Cassaro (goalie), Alayna Menecola (midfielder), Sascha Guiterez (forward), Brie Ohland (defender), and Olivia Groller (defender) at senior night as the team beat Wilson 5-0.

“Being able to play in front of our community with my best friends by my side is probably the best feeling ever,” senior Sophia Rossetti said. “It was such a good game for us and we really struck with the intensity that we’ve been building since the spring.”

During senior night, Kylee Will tied the school record for goals at 80, scoring all 5 goals for the team that night. To celebrate, her teammates stormed the field to give her a congratulatory hug.

“It was such an amazing feeling to accomplish a goal of mine since freshman year. I could not have done it without my teammates and coaches,” senior Kylee Will said.

As the seniors continue through the rest of the season, they are sure to cherish the moments that they will create together.
