CHOIR SELLING CHOCOLATE TO FUNDRAISE FOR DISNEY TRIP

Hungry students are overwhelmed with joy as the Bangor Choir sells Gertrude Hawk chocolate for only $1 per bar once again.

Run by choir director Mr. DiMinico, the fundraiser plays an important role for the department.

“The chocolate sale really benefits us. For every box we sell, we receive nineteen dollars and the proceeds go to our Disney World trip,” Mr. DiMinico said.

With milk, dark, crispy, raspberry, almond, caramel, and peanut butter chocolate— there is a flavor for every taste bud.

“My favorite type of chocolate bar is peanut butter. I do not really like plain, nor the extravagant flavors such as raspberry. Peanut butter is a simple medium,” junior Morgan Pysher said.

This fundraiser gives students an opportunity to help out fellow classmates, as well.

“I always try to help out the chorus to pay for their Disney trip. I feel like what they are doing will help out the community and bring people together with chocolate,” junior Jayden Dieter said.

Slaters suffering sugar withdrawal need only to find the nearest choir member for a sweet treat.
