The iPad has certainly streamlined completing work, but with the right tricks, students can maximize efficacy.

Airplane Mode Charging

Although students are supposed to be prepared for school with a fully charged iPad every day. There has been an epidemic of uncharged iPads infecting classrooms. This leaves students to charge iPad during class, but not every person has all the time in the world, which is approximately how long it takes to charge without airplane mode activated. Activating airplane mode turns off all extra utilities, helping the iPad charge faster in a short amount of time.

Four finger swipe

Say goodbye to the home button. Whenever browsing the iPad with more than one app opened at a time, there is no need to double click. In order to switch to another app while one is already opened, place four fingers on the screen and swipe right. By doing this, the screen slides over replacing the app that was currently being used with an app that was running in the background.

Multitasking

The most famous feature found on a laptop is now available within the iPad. Whether taking notes on an article or a video, going back and forth between two windows can be a hassle. With split screen, note taking has never been easier. In order to do this, hold the iPad horizontally and have an app already open. From there, swipe left on the edge of the screen, and click and drag the other app open until it covers half the screen. The split screen feature is an all-time favorite for students and teachers, saving time and space.
