You can find fun-filled fall activities right in your own community this Saturday October 14 at Portland Days, hosted with the help of Bangor’s very own Spanish Honor Society.

The event is officially run and organized by Mayor of Portland Lance Prator, Spanish Honor Society first started volunteering their time last year when Mayor Prator’s daughter Leeann was president of the club.

Free of admission, Portland Days offers festive activities like pumpkin painting and games for just the small price of a $3 wristband between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.. Refreshments will also be for sale to all visitors.

Specifically, Spanish Honor Society will be volunteering their time assisting the children in arts and crafts and fun-filled games.

“As President of Spanish Honor Society, I only hope that our members, as well as the families that attend, enjoy the experience and have a great day!” senior Sophia Rossetti said.

Full of promising festive fun, Portland Days is an event any local fall lover should take advantage of.
