It’s a wonderful, relaxing snow day. You invite your friends over to play in the snow, drink hot cocoa, and watch Christmas movies. Suddenly, you crave some delicious cookies, but not ordinary sugar cookies. You want something that will satisfy your sweet tooth. So, what a delicious treat that not only you will enjoy, but also your friends?

How to make Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies:

Serving: 24

Ingredients:
1 cup of butter, softened (2 sticks)
¾ cup of light brown sugar packed
1 cup of sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
3 ½ cups of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 bag of chocolate chips (milk, dark, semi-sweet)
1 package of Oreo cookies

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cream the butter and the sugars together with a mixer, or a fork, until well combined. Then beat in the eggs and vanilla all together.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking soda. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Then, add the chocolate chips. Mix until all ingredients well combined.
4. Scoop out a one inch ball of dough, place a single Oreo cookie on the ball of dough. Scoop out another inch ball of dough and place it on top on the Oreo. Using your hands, mold the dough around the Oreo until the edges are sealed and the Oreo is completely enclosed in dough. Repeat with each cookie.
5. Place onto a baking sheet. The cookies will expand a little bit while in the oven, so use two pans if necessary to create space between each cookie.
6. Bake for 11 to 15 minutes or until they look golden brown. Let the cookies cool down for 5 minutes until transferring to a cooling rack. Enjoy!
