The Lady Slater tennis team (5-6), led by head coach Stephen Speshok and captains Julia Dowd, Madelyn Ott, Katie Snyder, and Janessa Utess powered through a difficult season by working as a team to encourage and challenge each other.

CAUSING A RACKET! Senior captain Julia Dowd powerfully projects the tennis ball across the court. This past season Dowd wowed by topping off her Slater tennis career with placing third in singles (3) in the Colonial League Tournament.
NAILED IT! Senior Madeline Ott completes her follow through after sending a hard ball just over the net. Ott had the opportunity to serve her team as a captain this past season, she led with passion and a love for the game.
DOUBLE TROUBLE! Seniors Janessa Utess and Pei Du make their way over to defend their side of the court. Tennis can be fast paced and intense but has proven to be no match for this in-sync duo. (Kimberly Mora)
SLATER SMILES! Senior Katie Snyder flashes her game winning smile as she prepares for competition. Snyder was named a captain for her skill and excellent sportsmanship on and off the courts.
BETTER TOGETHER! Dynamic duo junior Corie Reid and Sophomore Alainie Fornaro combine forces to conquer opponents.
