SLATER MUSIC SENDS IMPRESSIVE NUMBERS TO DISTRICTS

Congratulations to the students selected to compete in the 2022 PMEA District 10 Band and Chorus!  

After an intense audition process beginning mid-October, a total of twenty-five students from BHS have been given the opportunity to participate in the PMEA District 10 Chorus taking place February 5, at Berks Catholic High School.  

Those chosen include seniors Lillian Bath (17), Logan Borger (8), Wren Campbell (12), Connor Condel (6), Alena De Rea (9), CJ Fassl (1), Evan Finkbeiner (2), Ryan Gambale (7), Kaylee Holland (1), Ash Hudak (16), Nikita Mendelsohn (10), Clara Oxford (6), Josh Raub (4), Jhonny Rojas (4), William Smith (9); juniors Alexa Cinelli (20), Hannah Confalone (17), Olivia Laclair (12), Jace Paynter (9), Lizzy Rutt (8), Andrew Spagnola (5); sophomores Bean Cesari (11), Sara Greene (13); freshmen Rachel Finkbeiner (13) and Jaleil Ward (6).  

Being selected to compete in this elite chorus is a great honor and BHS not only hit a new personal record number of acceptances but was also proud to have the highest number of students selected district wide.  

Additionally, a total of four Slater band members impressed during auditions and have been chosen to participate in the 2021 PMEA District 10 band to take place January 28-29, at Easton High School.  

The following seniors have been chosen: Connor Condel (snare drum), CJ Fassl (French horn), Evan Finkbeiner (baritone BC), and Nikita, Mendelsohn (B flat soprano clarinet).
