Senior athlete Landon Uhler, who starred on the football team and wrestling team, plans to pursue engineering after high school. Uhler, played linebacker, running back, wide receiver, and kicker; He was also a standout on the wrestling.  

Why did football matter to you so much? What did you like about it? 

I love the game and I like being with all my boys. 

What is your favorite memory or thing to do with the football team? 

I liked joking around with the team and coaches, the Wilson game, the Pen Argyl game, and the Eastern Conference championship game against Saucon Valley. 

What was/is your weight class in wrestling? 

126, 132, 138. 

What are/were your responsibilities?  

I was team captain and tried to make sure everyone is in check and ready to compete. 

Why did wrestling matter to you so much? 

I’ve been doing it my whole life since I was 4. It helped me become who I am. It taught me the meaning of dedication and determination. 

What did you like about it?  

It was fun competing and wiping the mat with kids. 

List your accomplishments with the wrestling team.  

I was the Doug Communale award winner, 2-time mvp, 2-time 1st Team, 1-time Second Team, and 2-time state qualifier. 

How has wrestling influenced you in a positive way?  

It has taught me life lessons that I could not get anywhere else. 

What people involved with the wrestling team matter to you most, and why? 

 Coach Smith and Coach Andrews have helped me out with many different things. 

What is your favorite memory or thing to do with wrestling?  

Practicing, I go to a different planet in my head and just push myself to my absolute limits.
