The 2022-2023 Powderpuff Championship was a cold one! The game began with the sophomores taking the lead on the freshmen and ultimately holding on for a victory. The juniors and seniors had a heated game that kept the whole crowd alert from the opening snap to the final horn; The junior claimed a solid victory and bragging rights. Of course, the night was not complete without the boys at Bangor Area High School putting on a spectacular cheer routines that brought everybody to their feet.

REFUSE TO LOSE! The juniors defend their quarterback (J. Pinter) as she looks for an open receiver. In the face of snowy conditions, the junior and senior class gave their all in the game.
WE GOT SPIRIT! Sophomore Marissa Siu clutches the football in excitement and looks for an open path to the endzone. Siu had multiple impressive runs.
CHAMPIONS! The junior class takes the win for this year’s powderpuff game. They defeated the seniors and showed them their way out!
GO TEAMS GO! The roles are reversed tonight with the Lady Slaters taking the field while the gentlemen took to the sidelines. They put on an enthusiastic cheer routine for the audience and to give the teams an extra boost of motivation.
LOUD AND PROUD! The band shows support for the teams and energizes the Slater community. These dedicated Slaters put on a great performance even in the cold temperatures.
