Daniela Safieva, Reporter

Loving, loyal, and sociable senior Chloe Rogers plans to go to East Stroudsburg University while also studying abroad to learn more about different cultures in the world! She has been part of the choir her whole high school career and is on the advertising chair for Leo Club.

What are your favorite classes?

Choir, English, and Ceramics
I like classes that allow me to be creative.

What do you hope to study?

After high school, I plan to attend East Stroudsburg University for business and marketing. During this time, I’d like to study abroad, as well, to learn about different cultures around the world.

Describe, in detail, your ideal life 10 years from now.

All I can say is that I’d like to have a successful career. I’m not sure exactly what I want that far in the future, but I’d love to live near the beach.

What is your best high school memory?

My best high school memory is building the bonfire. It was nice all the seniors got together to pick up pallets to have a big rivalry bonfire. We got to walk around spray painting the pallets, piling up the wood, eating lunch together, and just enjoy the day.

Which band could play the soundtrack to your high school career?

Not a band, but Lana Del Rey or Taylor Swift would play the soundtrack to my high school career because there have been many ups and downs and both of their music covers many different emotions and circumstances.

If there were a movie made about your high school days, what would be the title and which actor would play your part?

Chloe Rogers’s Day Off (based on Ferris Bueller’s Day Off). I took a personality quiz and got Angelina Jolie lol.

Which event/events will you miss the most?

I will miss the football games the most because it was fun for everyone to come together and stand in the Quarry Crew cheering for our school.

Who is your biggest mentor?

Mr. Di Minico has been my biggest mentor because he always has such a positive outlook and wants the very best for his students.

What is your favorite quote to live by?

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Who will you remember most in Bangor?

I have made a lot of great friends in all my years of school, and I appreciate them all so much. Kenzi has been there for me since middle school and I’m so glad we have such a close bond. I really couldn’t ask for a better best friend. Vera, although I only met her senior year, has become one of my close friends and has been there for me through thick and thin.

What activities have you done throughout your high school career?

I’ve been in choir since 6th grade, and I was even in select choir for a year or two. I am in Leo club on the advertising chair. With that, I got to help plan, set up, raise money for and attend MiniThon. As an elective course, I took mass communications where I got to take photos and design pages for the yearbook.

Which of these activities is your favorite?

Out of all these activities, choir has been my favorite so I’ve stuck with it throughout the years. I also enjoyed Leo Club and the leadership positions it provided.
