As Bangor’s Valedictorian, Logan Rushe is not only academically accomplished but also actively involved in various clubs such as Ecology and SGA, infusing them with his outgoing and energetic spirit.
What are your favorite classes? What was it about these classes that thrilled you?
AP Calculus because I really enjoy the challenge of solving problems, and Mrs. Laurito is a fantastic teacher.
What are some positive adjectives that your friends would use to describe you?
My friends would describe me as hot, smart, and hilarious. All of these are pretty self-explanatory.
What are your plans after high school (college, military, career path, etc.)? What do you hope to study? What career(s) appeal to you? Why?
I am committed to Columbia University, majoring in biophysics/French, and I want to pursue a career in biophysics in the future.
Describe, in detail, your ideal life 10 years from now.
I want to live on an island owned by myself with all the money I made, and I want to live with my pet dog, Lager.
What is your best high school memory and why?
My best high school memory is all the times in student government and just being in that club and all of the activities that Miss Gunn sets up.
If there were a movie made about your high school days, what would be the title and which actor would play your part? Why?
The movie would be called “Hot and Bored,” and the actor that would star me is Jacob Sartorius because his song “Sweatshirt” is one of the best, and I think he’d do a good job.
Which event/events will you miss the most and why?
I will miss football games because it’s always fun to dress up for the theme every Friday and scream with your friends for the team.
Which artist could play the soundtrack to your high school career and why?
The artist that would describe my high school career would be Aerosmith because “Sweet Emotion” is such a good song, and it tells a good story.
What is your favorite quote to live by and why?
My favorite quote to live by would be “Is it better to speak or to die?” I choose this quote because it’s very thought-provoking and makes you really think about the true answer.
Who will you remember most in Bangor (shoutout a friend(s)) and why?
I will remember Señora Menio. I choose her because I had her for 3 years throughout high school, and she was my homeroom teacher, so I saw her every day and talked to her a lot.
Who is your biggest mentor (shoutout a teacher/coach)? Why?
My biggest mentor was Mr. Hobbs because he always inspired me to think deeper about the world and changed my perspective about many things.
What activities (sports, clubs, jobs) have you done throughout your high school career?
SGA, Envirothon, Ecology Club, NHS, Tech Crew.

My favorite would be Envirothon because I get to do my favorite things with my favorite people.
