Slater cheer squad 2021 made their comeback to #SlaterNation sporting events better than ever. After being allowed limited appearances last year, these spirited ladies made the most of every second.

Led by senior captains Cyana Rodriguez and Madison Toth, the squad focused on fine-tuning their technique and advancing their skill-level all throughout the summer into football season. Making their first appearance of the season in the home game against Palisades, these athletes proved their importance while connecting the community and cheering the Slaters to victory.

Throughout the fall season, the team presented well-rehearsed cheers and impressive stunt work.

Slater cheer also participated in the 2021 Colonial League cheer competition at Wilson on November 3. With their bright smiles and passion for performing, the Slaters took fifth place.

Continuing into the winter, the cheerleaders continued practices and worked to implement the Slater spirit within Bill Pensyl Gymnasium and beyond.
